Memorable Scripture: Almost Persuaded

Acts 26:28
Then Agrippa said to Paul, “You almost persuade me to become a Christian.”

How hard do you push someone toward salvation?
Paul gave a powerful testimony of his conversion and appealed to King Agrippa of the truth he gave.
However, Paul was speaking with someone familiar with Judaism and Hebrew history.
Today, most of that is lost on those you talk to about Christ.
It’s a word of false religions, atheists, agnostics, unbelievers, half-believers, and carnal Christians.
There is one truth in Christ and a seemingly infinite amount of false religions against that one truth.
It is your testimony that could bring someone to Christ or the brink of almost persuaded.
Don’t ever underestimate the power of your own salvation and the persuasiveness of your words.
You can lead someone to Christ or, perhaps, plant enough of a seed for someone else to cultivate that person.
As Paul would put it to the Corinthian’s, “I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.” 1 Cor 3:6
