Memorable Scripture: Red Horse

Revelation 6:3-4 When He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come and see.” Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword.

Another horseman of the apocalypse.
This one takes away what the first one brought.
But then the first one did not bring real and lasting peace, having nothing to secure it.
Remember the rider of the white horse had a bow but no arrows.
This rider has a sword, which is often symbolic of the word of God.
It is possible this sword is a false gospel used to promote the killing of others.
History has already taught us there is always someone who is not satisfied and wants more.
Wars are started because someone believes they deserved what another possesses.
If they cannot get it by legitimate means then they will kill for it, a sad fact that is not just true about war.
It is sad that people cannot leave one another alone in peace.
Sin causes people to kill other people over religion, politics, ethnicity, age, money, and so on.
Although I disagree with many people over their religion or politics, I have the love of Christ in me and do not wish to harm anyone.
