Morning thoughts from Pastor Tim

Having many things to write to you, I did not wish to do so with paper and ink; but I hope to come to you and speak face to face, that our joy may be full. 2 John 12
I read that verse last night and it has stuck in my head and heart.
It tells me that to see face-to-face is better than a comment on myspace, a phone call, an email, or a text message.
We have moved into an age where we no longer visit one another.
Perhaps we feel we are intruding into their time and space but I always enjoy when someone just drops by.
It allows me to stop what I’m doing and visit, a rare treat.
For years Linda and I have been wanting to stop and visit with Aunt Jewel.
We never did and she’s been dead since 1990.
We have got to stop and take time to visit with one another face-to-face.
The reason; that our joy may be full!
