Today is Friday!
It’s my last day to work and you will not hear from me again.
Well, at least for a week because I am going on vacation.
My destination? Continue reading

Family
Last Saturday I had a family reunion on my mother’s side.
It was the Hook reunion which has been held the weekend of Memorial Day for as far back as I can remember.
All of the Hook’s are gone now. Continue reading
A Red Sket-lon
Four year olds are funny!
My grandson, Braeden told us about going to eat boiled crawfish over the weekend.
“I tore those crawfish up,” he said. Continue reading
You Better Clarify That!
Ashley was supposed to give Linda some graduation invitations to pass out at church.
Both of them forgot about it.
Linda remembered while we were an hour away from home and called Ashley and just told her to put them in the mailbox.
Ashley did just that. Continue reading
Your Favorite Scripture

Ray was trying to talk to a very confrontational man.
The guy believed he was good, a thought shared by many these days.
Though he admitted that he had lied, stolen, taken God’s name in vain, and had impure thoughts, he maintained his goodness. Continue reading
Are You Finished?
He said, “It is finished!” John 19:30
Saturday found Mark D. and me at Daniel Springs church camp at 7am.
We were there to run computer cables through the ceiling and mount 2 video/multimedia projectors.
Before we knew it we’d been working for 5 hours. Continue reading
A Pact With Deception
Here’s one for you.
I found this at the Worldnetdaily website.
The Beatles meteoric rise, unprecedented in popular culture and unrivaled nearly four decades after the band broke up, is at least partly explained, says a new book, by a pact John Lennon made with the Devil. Continue reading
