Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Continue reading

This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.” Continue reading

Memorable Scripture: Way, Truth, and Life
John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
This is one of the most profound scriptures in the Bible.
In it, Jesus claims three specific things about Himself.
He is the way. Not a way. Not some way. But the way. It is Him or nothing.
He is the truth. Not a truth. Not a half-truth. Not a lie. Since He is the truth and so His words are true. While many others can speak true words, Jesus gives eternal truth.
He is the life. Not a life. Not some life. The life He lived He lived for you so you may have eternal life.
Early on in His ministry, Jesus introduced the concept of God as the Father and the Father as God.
Jesus says you cannot get to God except through Him.
Disregard this scripture and you will not gain eternal life.
Jesus is not the way just for a Christian but for everyone – for the Jew first and also the Gentile.
He is the way for you!
Memorable Scripture: Prepare
John 14:1-3

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” Continue reading
