I read a news story about a singing act that was arrested for singing Kung-fu Fighting.
Some Asian-Americans were walking by the place he was performing and became offended at the words. Continue reading

THE WEDDING
There is much talk about the royal wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton.
You’ve had to hear about it for months now.
You’ve seen the engagement announced, you saw the ring, you heard the interview; now you know the route, the security concerns, his cake/her cake, and you know they don’t get to kiss at the ceremony. Continue reading
He Can Take Care Of YOU!
…for everyone included in the numbering from twenty years old and above, for six hundred and three thousand, five hundred and fifty men. Ex 38:26
The epic classic The Ten Commandments was on the other night. I happened on the channel just as the Hebrews were leaving Egypt and Moses says something like, “Lord, there are so many. How will I know where to lead them?” Continue reading
HE IS RISEN!
Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, that they might come and anoint Him. Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen. And they said among themselves, “Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?” Continue reading
The Bible Is Not A Novel
Then Moses was content to live with the man, and he gave Zipporah his daughter to Moses. Ex 2:21
I like to listen to Book Radio on the way in to work and on the way home.
Over a period of weeks, or months, I get to listen to an entire book 30 minutes at a time.
Currently in the afternoon drive home, I’m listening to Zipporah – Wife of Moses by Marek Halter. Continue reading
Awaken, Air Traffic Controller
There is much news about air traffic controllers falling asleep or watching movies instead of watching the screens and directing aircraft.
In their defense, air safety isn’t the easiest career to get into. Continue reading
A Year Has Gone
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD. Luke 4:19
It’s been a year since the Gulf oil disaster.
A year!
Where did time go?
We’ve all made a full circle around the sun again. Continue reading
Practice Makes Perfect!
Linda and I watch Dancing with the Stars on Monday and Tuesday evening then American Idol on Wednesday and Thursday.
The idea behind the two programs is basically the same; people either dance or sing and should get better and better with practice until someone wins. Continue reading
Get Rid Of Him – All Over Again
They brought the donkey and the colt, laid their clothes on them, and set Him on them. And a very great multitude spread their clothes on the road; others cut down branches from the trees and spread them on the road. Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying:
“Hosanna to the Son of David! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!’ Hosanna in the highest!” Matt 21:7-9 Continue reading
Refreshing Rain
I awakened this morning to one of the sweetest sounds in the world; rain!
As I sit here writing its 4am and it’s a downpour.
The rain is falling on the roof and trickling to the ground making a pleasant splashing sound.
The rain will slack off a bit and then it’s like God turns on the faucet a bit more and it’s a flood! Continue reading
