“If He withholds the waters, they dry up; If He sends them out, they overwhelm the earth.”Job 12:15
This has been an overwhelming week and I haven’t had my mind on doing a morning devo!
It’s fundraiser time at work and I’m in charge of setting up the equipment. Tables, chairs, computers, phones, network wiring, electrical wiring, relays for flashing lights, flat screen TV’s, and cameras are all used. Plus I create all of the radio spots that are used.
I’ve spent the last two weeks trying to prepare for 36 hours of fundraising.
It’s been overwhelming, but I’ve learned not to do anything stupid while being surrounded by such a great amount of work.
Patience and steadily moving forward one step at a time is key.
The scripture says If God sends a lot of rain it overwhelms the earth.
When that happens you can’t do anything stupid like driving through water that’s glowing over the road. Or driving 70 mph in a hard downpour.
Patience and steadily moving one step at a time is key.
Don’t let life overwhelm you. Slow down. Look around. Enjoy the view. Then move forward a step at a time.
