Morning thoughts from Pastor Tim

Finally, the election is over!
Sort of!
We may not have to hear debates and promises for a couple of years now.
We won’t have to deal with polls or political analysis.
We don’t have to hear 30-minute political commercials before a ball game.
We’re not going to have to worry about losing our voting card.
There is no concern about where the polling place is located.
We don’t have to look at political signs up and down the highway or in front yards.
Yet we still have to deal with an election, an election into eternal life.
Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 1:10-11
I was sure about whom I was voting for but I was not sure about the outcome.
I am sure Who has voted for my salvation and I am positive about the outcome.
