Merry Christmas!
Happy New Year!
I spent part of my Christmas Day Photshopping a picture for my sister in law.
She had, on her camera, a picture of her, her husband, the twins, and their girlfriends.
She wasn’t pleased with the picture of her and came to me, “the problem solver.”
I took another picture of her and hubby and copied it into my computer.
Then I took one of the photos of one couple and pasted from the “good” photo the twins and friends.
It took two pasteings to get the upper bodies right on all the photos but after it was said and done, well, you be the judge by looking at it.

This is the original photo. I used the twins and friends from this one.

I choose this one for the background of the final. The couple were never removed but every one else was placed "over" them.

Here is Brock & Joann in my back yard.

Here is the final picture. Brock & Joann are brighter because I cleaned the lense before snapping the photo. Yet she was pleased with the outcome.
It’s amazing what you can do with Photoshop.
In fact, you must be careful not to believe every picture sent to you these days.
What I have learned from using Photoshop is too look carefully at the shadows in pictures.
Most people mess up when it comes to that. A shadow leaning to the left on one person but to the right on another isn’t possible with the same light source like the sun.
I’ve even identified some video as fake because of shadows.
Shadows can really help you determine what is true and what is false.
Now read this, for the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect. Heb 10:1
The Old Testament is a shadow of the New.
I find that many false beliefs can be determined to be so by the shadow they cast in relation to the Bible.
The Bible can say lean left but the false religion leans right.
That’s not possible with a Light source like Jesus.
So watch the shadows when it comes to pictures and faith.
