Morning thoughts from Pastor Tim |
|---|
This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. |
|---|
Let me catch you up on the border collies, the girls, as I call them.
Lola and Zoe continue to grow by leaps and bounds. They are very intelligent and mischievous, a dangerous combination.
They come running to me when I whistle for them.
They desire my affection and a little scratch behind the ears, which I often oblige them with.
It’s good that they have each other to romp along with. It would be a miserable existence for just one of them.
They wrestle and tussle as they run through the pasture.
The Chihuahua’s don’t really pal around with either one of them, so it’s a very good thing that they have each other.
Where one ventures the other follows.
Where the other goes the one will also.
Lola will find the water and Zoe will find the mud.
The both climb into their provincial igloo doghouse and keep each other warm on these cold nights.
They are like best friends.
There is a verse of scripture that means a lot to me.
To be honest with you, I don’t know what my life would be like without Jesus.
I don’t know where I would be or what I would be doing.
I would be lost and though I might be married and might have friends, I would be alone.
Jesus is talking to His disciples and tells them, “I have called you friends.” John 15:15
It is so comforting to know that Jesus considers me His friend.
And like Lola and Zoe, where He goes I should follow.
Where He ventures I should also go.
We can keep each other warm.
How wonderful is that?

So good you’re back! Funny too, I’ve been telling hubby our little dog needs a friend. It must be diffisult being an only child. I grew up with 4 brothers, no sisters. I many times felt alone. But now I Praise God. He has given me many wonderful sisters!!!
