SURPRISE!!!

This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

But you aren’t in the dark about these things, dear brothers and sisters, and you won’t be surprised when the day of the Lord comes like a thief. 1 Thess 5:4 NLT
Not too many things surprise me.
I’m not really surprised at when they throw a surprise birthday party for me…on my birthday no less.
I’m not surprised at the amount of immorality we have…the Bible said it would happen.
I shouldn’t be too surprised if I die…it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment. Heb 9:27
I won’t be surprised when Jesus comes back…He said He would.
But I was surprised by some news I heard last night and I’ll share that with you next week.
I must pray about my response to this news.
Until then don’t be surprised.
Take the advice from God’s word; Watch , stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. 1 Cor 16:13

There are those whoes testamony is an after death experiance. Heb 9:27 IS true then they didn’t realy die. With our limited understanding their life ended.But God’s use of the word ( the true meaning) excapes us. He is merciful, allowing us to dtand firm on what little we do understand. Thank God He is looking at our hearts not our smarts. Oh, Lord Jesus open our understanding and pour Your self in.
