Linda and I parked and exited the van to go into Wal-mart.

About the same time a woman exited her car and walked just in front of us.

Suddenly she stopped right in the middle of the path.

We were perhaps 20 feet behind her and quickly caught up and started to go around when she blew her smoke.

She had stopped to light a cigarette and we walked right into the foul smelling noxious fumes.

Now I’m not here to disrespect smokers but Wal-mart is a no smoking establishment and as she entered the store she put her freshly lit cig into the container outside the store.

She may have had time to get two or three puffs off of it.

Did she think about that?

We’re not smokers but know that the price has increase significantly and we recognize wasted money when we see it.

That was it!

This is what happens when people act without thinking.

It’s something all of us do, including me, though I do try to think through all of the scenarios.

It would seem that even when we do think things out that God still has something to say about it, The LORD knows the thoughts of man, That they are futile. Ps 94:11

If we were to truly think in a way that we would have the mind of Christ then we would fulfull what Paul said.

Fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Phil 4:8 NLT

It would be great if we could truly keep our thoughts on Him.

You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you,

whose thoughts are fixed on you! Isa 26:3 NLT
