Creativity Demands A Creator

It is written “There is none righteous, no, not one; There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God. They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one.” Rom 3:10-12
First of all even the most moral person, such as myself, must admit that we have done (and do) things that are wrong, therefore we are not righteous just as the Word says.
But going further it reveals that there is none who seek after God.
The atheist is not seeking God.
Remember what I said that God is not interested in what you haven’t done but in what you have.
The atheist hasn’t sought God but in this he has done something by his inaction.
His inaction goes against something that the Word says is in him.
Deny this, if you will, but creation demands a Creator.
Look around you right now at all the things in the room.
Did they just “happen” and “appear” by themselves?
The act of creation demands a creator and so you must assume that someone made those things and so it is with the things outside your door; the trees, the sun, moon, stars, birds, animals, and so on.
But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who push the truth away from themselves. For the truth about God is known to them instinctively. God has put this knowledge in their hearts. From the time the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky and all that God made. They can clearly see his invisible qualities — his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse whatsoever for not knowing God. Rom 1:18-20 NLT

  1. The “things in the room” are a good example.
    They were made by somebody.
    Somebody made your table.
Somebody wrote the program you are using.
    But you can’t see him.

  2. Great post! Athiest often coment about the “Big Bang” but in order for there to be a “bang” there has to be an energy to make that “bang”. And that energy must be God.”Bangs” or explosions do’nt create the they destroy.

  3. Destruction is part of life, not in the sense of human aggression but in a wider, natural context. Something dies, giving birth to something new. Plants become earth to feed new plants, and so on …
In my opinion, it’s quite possible that something like a Big Bang really happened. But I do not agree with the Atheist’s conclusion that there was “nothing” before it “banged”.
Can something be created by nothing?
    I don’t think so.
