Do you remember the story a few weeks ago when Air Force One made a low pass over NYC for a photo-op with the Statue of Liberty?
While the Presidential plane flew overhead with 2 Air Force jets as escort, New Yorkers ran out of office buildings into the streets, dialed 911, and panicked, fearing another terrorist attack.
This little stunt cost the American taxpayer a minimum of$328,000!
I thought I’d see how long it would take me to do what they wanted to do.
So I Googled an image of Air Force One and another for the Statue of Liberty.
Using Photoshop I quickly put the 2 together in about 5 minutes.
While it’s not a perfect photo, I didn’t frighten a whole city while doing it.
A little more time and expertise and the picture could be flawless.
These days it’s difficult to tell a true picture from a doctored one.
Most have been retouched in some way.
That brings me to the Gospel.
There is only one true Gospel of Christ Jesus but there are many that have been retouched to make them “better”.
While that may work for a photograph, the Gospel needs no improvement.
The Bible says many deceivers have gone out into the world. They do not believe that Jesus Christ came to earth in a real body. Such a person is a deceiver and an antichrist. 2 John 7 NLT
This is what these deceivers do. They deny the reality of Christ and change the message to suit there needs.
Know the untouched truth that is God’s word.
