In her interview with Dr. Dobson, Carrie said she felt like Satan was tempting her and she was not referencing Mr. Hilton.
Firing back Perez Hilton says God told him to ask Carrie Prejean that gay marriage question at the Miss USA Pageant.
And the gossip blogger also says that God told him that Carrie’s Miss California crown should be taken away Continue reading

The Bible – Don’t Change A Thing

airforce1liberty1Do you remember the story a few weeks ago when Air Force One made a low pass over NYC for a photo-op with the Statue of Liberty?
While the Presidential plane flew overhead with 2 Air Force jets as escort, New Yorkers ran out of office buildings into the streets, dialed 911, and panicked, fearing another terrorist attack.
This little stunt cost the American taxpayer a minimum of$328,000! Continue reading

I Have Some Good News, I Have Some Bad News

I know you’ve heard the good news/bad news before.
Which would you like first?
You’re getting the good news; I finished the lessons for church camp.
Now for the bad news; the computer it was on crashed.
Now for the good news; I was able to remove the hard drive, put it in another pc and retrieve the lessons.
Now for the bad news; the computer, my laptop, is still crashed.
Stand by for God to change this to good news again.
Until then there is this, Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.
Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.
1 Chron 16:23-24
Faith comes from listening to this message of good news — the Good News about Christ. Rom 10:17 NLT
Now for the bad news; if you trust in Jesus as your Savoir then there is no bad news!

His Word Is A Path

I am educational director again this year at church camp.
That means I am responsible for the lesson plan used by all teachers in every class.
It can be quite an undertaking and I have been struggling with the topic “Are you good enough to go to heaven?”
I have written random bits and pieces here and there but nothing solid. Continue reading

Happy Anniversary Wife Of My Youth (and old age)

Yesterday was our anniversary.
Linda and I have been married for 30 beautiful, glorious, wonderful, terrific, adventurous, outstanding years.
As I was standing in line at the store writing a check, when I went to fill in the date.
“What is today,” I said aloud. “Oh, yea, it’s the 4th, my anniversary!” Continue reading

Spread The Wealth

Do you remember what President Obama said to Joe the plumber during the campaign?
“My attitude is that if the economy’s good for folks from the bottom up, it’s gonna be good for everybody. If you’ve got a plumbing business, you’re gonna be better off if you’re gonna be better off if you’ve got a whole bunch of customers who can afford to hire you, and right now everybody’s so pinched that business is bad for everybody and I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”
There is an example of spreading the wealth in the Bible. Continue reading

Letter Of Encouragement

I wrote a letter of recommendation for one of the young men from church, who is about to graduate high school and continue to college.
I worded the letter very carefully and gave as glowing report of the young man that I possible could.
Letters have always had an important place in human history especially in the Bible. Continue reading
