Consider this, which I have been pondering for some time.
Daniel 9:27 says, Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
Now this chapter of Daniel is a prophecy about 70 weeks of years.
Each week is a year and in verse 27 it says “in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.”
This can only be talking about the crucifixion of Jesus because that put an end to sacrifice and offering.
This is further supported by the fact that it was in the middle of the week, that is, 3 ½ days or 3 ½ years, which is what many believe is the length of His earthly ministry.
We know He died at Passover and to go back exactly 3 ½ years is to start at the Feast of Tabernacles.
If Jesus began His ministry when He was exactly 30 years old, then He would have been born on the Feast of Tabernacles.
Of course, I can be wrong and I admit this.
But when will He begin the last 3 ½ days, that is the other ½ of the week?
Stay with me on this one; the old saying is, “I’ll pick up where…”
You got it, “…where I left off!”
So He may begin the end of the week (years) at Passover which will make the latter half of the week (3 ½ years) end on the Feast of Tabernacles.
Passover is the first feast of the year and Tabernacles is the last.
Remember the words of Jesus, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.” Rev 22:13
I love it when menisters across the land preach and teach on the same subject. It is an undeniable confermation that God is speaking. Those quite Bible studiers (at home) rejoice to see that we are all on the same page. But not all will so deeply study. Not all want to know what God is going to do. My God is very personal, close. He is willing to share His heart with me! To let me know before He does a thing. It is behond my understanding why some don’t want such a relationship with our Creater. On moment with Him changes my intire day. Praise God we can have many such moments through out the day.

Hi Pastor Tim, Just thought I would give my thoughts on final week mentioned in Daniel 9:27.
The one referred to as making a covenant with many for one “seven” is actually the beast of Revelation 13. After the church is removed from the earth, he will make a covenant with Israel. Israel will accept him as her Messiah, but in the middle of the “week” ( or 3 1/2 years) the beast will break his covenant by placing an image in the temple (Rev. 13). This is the abomination of desolation. What Israel thought to be the millennium will turn out to be the Great Tribulation. Only Christ return will end this tribulation.
