Linda and I went to Camp Daniel Springs on Saturday to meet with the other officers and discuss this years agenda.
We’re only 4 weeks away from camp.
While we were there we noticed some changes to the old dorms.

Upon entering a few them, we see that someone has been rebuilding, refurbishing, and repairing the old dorms.
New bunks and mattresses, new shower stalls, curtains; event the ceiling, floors, and walls get new paint with scripture.
It’s really very nice although all of it is on the women’s side.
Nothing has been done on the men’s.
That’s okay though because we are more concerned with the rebuilding, refurbishing, and repairing of the soul.
David said, “Unless the LORD builds the house, They labor in vain who build it;” Ps 127:1
I know those that are donating time and material to redo the camp dorms are doing it for God’s glory though they will get to enjoy it themselves.
But unless God builds your house, that is your life, you are laboring in vain; all for nothing.
You are God’s building. 1 Cor 3:9
Whether you’re a pastor, Sunday school teacher, deacon, elder, or just a layperson, you can take the words of Paul to heart.
According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. 1 Cor 3:10
Each of us are building and constructing other lives by what we do, what we say, where we go, and how we act.
You may think you are nobody but in God’s scheme of things you are somebody.
And to others you are somebody.
Do not allow yourself to build with temporary things but build on the eternal salvation that is in Jesus Christ.
