What Does The Scripture Say? Part 7

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed — in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1 Cor 15:50-52
Since Jesus has fulfilled the four spring feasts, there is no reason to believe He won’t do the same for the three fall feasts.
It is my opinion that the Head of the Year, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Teruah, that is, the Feast of Trumpets will be an event most Christians have anticipated their entire lives.
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 1 Thess 4:16, 17
And so, in my opinion, I believe the raising of the dead in Christ and the catching away of the living Christians is on the Feast of Trumpets.
It will mark the end of the church age as we know it.
In Revelation chapters 2 and 3, a message is sent out to 7 churches. Each of those churches is indicative of the church age, from the ascension of Jesus to His return.
I have been in each of these type of churches as describe in chapters 2 and 3; and, no doubt, the church I pastor falls into one of the categories.
Suddenly something different takes place in chapter 4; After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.” Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. Rev 4:1-2
“After these things” is after the church age.
John heard a voice “like a trumpet” speaking to him.
It said “come up here…”
This may very well indicate the event we call the rapture.
