What does Satan want the most?
The answer is found in Isaiah; For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ Isa 14:13-14
He wants to take the place of God.
The only opposition that stands in his way is God, of course. (I’m against it too!)
But what if Satan could wipe the memory of Yahweh from off the planet?
He doesn’t need to worry about the Muslims, Buddhists, Taoists, Atheists, or any other group with the exception of two; Christians and Jews.
He can never erase God from a Christian because the Holy Spirit actually dwells inside a Christian; That good thing which was committed to you, keep by the Holy Spirit who dwells in us. 2 Tim 1:14
It is impossible to wipe away the memory of what Jesus has done for those of us forgiven and cleansed by His Blood.
But the Jews rejected the sacrifice of Messiah and are not filled and protected by the Holy Spirit.
If they had their way, they would return to the Mosaic system of sacrifice and worship.
When the Christians are removed from the equation by way of being “caught up” then there remains only one group left on the planet that has a memory of the one true God – the Jews.
If Satan can get them to accept the fact that he is their Messiah then he can effectively transfer their center of worship from God to him.
Once that is done there will be no one else to dispute any different.
That is, except for God.
We are made in His image and there is a lot of God in us and just as we will fight for what is ours, so will God.
Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.” And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed: Rev 7:2-4
Why is it that Jews are sealed?
I believe it is because the Christians are missing!
That by the time this happens Jesus has snatched up the dead in Christ and the living Christians.
