Instant messaging is the thing to do these days.
Linda sends out more txt msgs (text messages) on her phone than anything else.
We will communicate with our children by text message.
She will send me a grocery list by text, which I like.
I text my coworkers and friends at church a quick msg r 2. (message or two)
I even had one of the girls in church send me her basketball schedule and she did it by text so now it’s on my phone.
Others are twittering or sending tweets by phone so their friends can keep up with them. Now I haven’t quite got there yet, though this morning I set my Facebook page to receive messages from my phone so I can update it on the fly.
With all of this messaging going on, it’s really easy to keep up with your family and friends.
But are we keeping up with God?
He has a message for us too.
He has a message for us to tell others.
Do you keep your FACE in His BOOK? Or do you tell Him, “This is MYSPACE! Come back later!”
Are you keeping God up-to-date with a prayer tweet?
Here’s a reminder…God doesn’t use a cell phone or get on-line.
If you want to talk with Him, He’s made it real simple and it’s unlimited talk time. Just close your eyes and pray…talk to God…He’s listening.
