The End Is Near

Allow me once again to share with you about the bathroom construction.
This entire last week I was up at 3am to go to work so I would get off around noon.
Just about everyday I worked on trying to finish.
Last Thursday I finally got the shower stall installed, which was all I was trying to do in the first place.
Friday I did trim work and caulking.
Then on Saturday I installed the lavatory and the toilet, though because I raised the floor the rigid water line for the toilet would not reach, a slight setback.
The sink is working again and just about all that is left is the toilet water line and the shower drain line.
I am that close to finishing; I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
It’s a good feeling when you see the fruit of you labor coming getting closer.
For me it has been a long, tedious ordeal.
My Christian journey has been long too and is still continuing.
I think of those early Christians waiting for Jesus to return; days, weeks, months, and years went by and still no sign of Him.
On the Island of Patmos, the apostle John had a great vision of the future.
Toward the end he was told, “Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand.” Rev 22:10
The time is at hand and still it’s been almost 2000 years.
But as I watch world events I can also see that His return is closer than it’s ever been before.
Surely the time is at hand and He will come soon.
He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.”
Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
Rev 22:20

  1. The promise is great! It keeps hope alive. The waite is hard. The knowledge of what it takes to optain the promises brings sorry when seeing others refuse Him. I had a choise and I made it. Their choise was different and that was not because they were not given all the same oppertunities to know Him. God’s judgements are always just. When we each stand before Jesus who will have an exceptable excuse? Mine…I am covered in His blood.
