A Healing

Linda goes in for surgery this morning at 730.
It’s come down to this.
I often think how easy it would be for God to reach down, touch someone, and heal them.
But that’s not always the way it happens.
There are many that would believe because you are not healed, you lack faith.
I’m not one of them.
There are those that believe if you are sick then un-confessed sin is in your life.
I’m not one of them.
There are those that believe Jesus would have all of His followers rich and healthy, and I’m not one of them.
If all Christian’s were rich and healthy, then where would miracles happen?
Were we saved to make others jealous over fading riches and health that can only lead to death?
The psalmist said, “Lord, be merciful to me; Heal my soul, for I have sinned against You.” Ps 41:4
It is written that He heals the brokenhearted Ps 147:3, I will heal their backsliding Hos 14:4, and Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; Save me, and I shall be saved, For You are my praise. Jer 17:14
No, I’m not bothered by the fact that Linda did not receive instant healing.
But I am satisfied in the fact that my Lord is continually healing her and me to His honor and glory.
We are touched by His finger every day.
