“So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” Luke 11:9-13
I didn’t get out a Morning Thought a few times last week due to some email changes.
Recently I upgraded to a new PC with Windows 7.
Windows 7 doesn’t come with an email program like previous versions.
I’ve always used Outlook Express because of it’s simplicity but that’s virtually been discontinued.
So I turned to Mozilla Thunderbird, which Linda hated and I tolerated.
Now I’m going with Outlook.
However email doesn’t import/export easily from Thunderbird, so I have been converting email for import into Outlook.
It’s been a hectic process and I was caught in between yesterday morning.
Isn’t it a pain when you get used to something and they change it, without ever consulting you?
I’m glad God isn’t that way.
It would be terrible if He kept changing salvation.
But God has given you exactly what you need and has never changed it.
You need His love.
You need His forgiveness.
You need His Son.
You need His Spirit.
You need exactly what He has given for you!
