There is always someone pushing their agenda.
I mean, it’s there right to do that; it’s the greatness of this country, that we can express differing viewpoints and ideas but I feel like some viewpoints and ideas are just plain wrong.
That’s my right!
It doesn’t matter that someone says, “We’re not hurting anyone. It’s our own business what we do!”
But if the actions of an individual or group leads to the destruction of any facet of society, can you still say “we’re not hurting anyone”?
Like the silversmiths of Ephesus, they rallied and promoted a goddess that was made by their hands.
The agenda wasn’t the promotion of some great caring god; the agenda was financial!
Now think about what you promote.
Sure, you may consider yourself a Christian but do you promote it?
Or do you promote a politics? A TV show? A movie? A sport?
Each of us loves to talk about our passion.
I love to talk geocaching but geocaching is a man-made sport and not the Way of salvation.
Your passion could be baseball or football, fishing or hunting, crocheting or painting, cooking or riding the ATV.
Each is fun but none will save you.
We need to have more “fun” in Jesus, so much so that He becomes our passion.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Luke 12:34
