I went through school for 12 years.
I did 2 years of college and graduated with an associate degree.
My teachers and professors taught me all they could and since May of 1979, I have been on my own.
I will admit that I don’t know everything there is.
Knowledge is an immense place with no walls that keep expanding.
There is something new to learn everyday.
I try to hold on to what I know but many times I have to research to reassure that I know it; often after I’ve opened my mouth and said that it’s true.
I may know more than the average person about zoology, technology, astronomy, anatomy, and various other sciences.
I’ve always been interested in those subjects.
My daughter says that we are loaded with all kinds of information that does us no good.
Though it seems that universal knowledge is boundless, the knowledge of God is too.
Yet, God has seen fit to bind His word between the covers and contain it from Genesis to Revelation.
Sixty-six books in all; neatly packaged and contained for your knowledge.
He has said these things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. 1 John 5:13
Still, I do not know all that is written and all that is known.
The knowledge of God is more vast and boundless than any other and yet He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Unlike my teachers and professors that have left me on my own, God has sent me a Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. John 14:26
So I’m never really on my own. God is with me, teaching me something everyday.
I wonder what I’ll learn today?
