Tremors

Recently a Muslim cleric declared that the numerous earthquakes we have been experiencing were because of immodestly dressed women.
Hojatoleslam Kazem Sadighi said in his Friday Prayers sermon that women who do not fully observe the obligatory Islamic hijab lead to the spread of adultery in Iranian society, which increases the risk of earthquakes.
In response, a U.S. student has called on women around the world to dress immodestly — show a little cleavage, or some short shorts — to show their disapproval of claims.
Did it make a difference either way?
Last Tuesday there were 66 quakes around the world, according to the US Geological Survey.
There were 44 on Wednesday, 46-Thursday, 46-Friday, and 44 on Saturday.
Everyday there is tectonic activity somewhere on the planet.
It is recorded that there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. Matt 28:2
While Paul and Silas sat in prison praising God, there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed. Acts 16:26
And in the final days, Revelation says there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. In the earthquake seven thousand people were killed, and the rest were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven. Rev 11:13
The way I see it, the earthquakes have less to do with the way women dress and more to do with God’s will.
Is He trying to get our attention?
Always!
But as Elijah discovered, the LORD was not in the earthquake; and after the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice. 1 Kings 19:11-12
Listen carefully and hear from God today!
