It’s Wednesday and for most of us, it’s church night.
I really like Wednesday night.
It’s an opportunity to practice on our music, study God’s word, ask questions, get answers, and pray for others.
Someone will fix a pot of coffee and we’re off.
We praise God, not because of the coffee, but because He is God.
He has redeemed us from our sin.
He has forgiven us where we have failed.
He has pulled us up out from the bottom of a deep well.
He has healed our wounds.
He has set our feet on solid ground, high ground, that we can see clearly.
He has promised His return.
The fellowship is great.
I can drag myself in the doors; tired, wiped, exhausted, and dead on my feet.
I leave feeling refreshed, vibrant, energized, and wired.
I’ll be wide awake.
No wonder the Psalmist said, “I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go into the house of the LORD.’” Ps 122:1
sorry i wont be there tonight, meeting with customers to go over house plans and to get the ball rolling on this house i am going to build. keep me in your prayers.
