God's Amendment

There is a lot of chatter these days over illegal immigrants and the 14th Amendment.
The Amendment states: All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
The big debate is over illegal immigrants crossing the border and having babies on U. S. soil, thus making the newborns U. S. Citizens.
There is talk about amending the 14th Amendment.
But if it were not for a Godly-type of 14th amendment, you and I would not stand an eternal chance.
After all, that which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. John 3:6
Our birth in the flesh (natural birth) does not guarantee spiritual birth.
Jesus said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3
Not being born again will keep you a citizen of earth but not of heaven.
Being born of the flesh keeps you in the flesh.
But when you give your heart and put your faith in the Lord Jesus, you will be changed.
If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 Cor 5:17
Your birthright changes from this world to not of this world.
For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself. Phil 3:20-21
God will never amend his plan for heavenly citizenship and complete forgiveness.
