I have never seen God!
I haven’t seen the risen Savior!
Yet my belief in Them is called in question; doubt wants to plant a seed in my spirit because I haven’t met them in person, in a visual way; telling me that neither exists. But my comfort and my strength is God’s word, which tells me without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Heb 11:6
I do not have to see Him to know that He is.
I have recognized His hand in my life.
Hebrews goes on to remind me that Noah was told to build a boat to protect his legacy from the coming rain. He was told this when rain did not exist and it had never rained before.
Not only Noah but Abraham, Sarah, Jacob, Isaac and the list goes on.
I genuinely have sympathy for those that cannot or will not have the faith to believe.
Remember that Thomas has 10 close friends telling him that Jesus was resurrected and had visited them that day.
He said, “Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.” John 20:25
A week later he got that opportunity.
When Jesus appeared Thomas declared, “My Lord and my God!” John 20:28
Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” John 20:29
That’s where I come in; I’m one of those that has not seen and yet I believe.
I am blessed.
Someone recently told me that God needed to show Himself so that we could all believe and worship Him.
He did; we killed Him.
But when he returns…every knee should bow…and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Phil 2:10-11
And so all will!
I believe! When I pray in Jesus name and see results my faith is deepened, and still I have not seem Him with my eyes. Goush, we can not see germs but we know they are there, there is strong evidence.
