If you know me at all, you know that I am fascinated by new gadgets, electronics, and computer software.
It stands to reason that the advertisements for Windows Live has caught my attention.
This morning I was up unusually early, downloaded a few things, and began to play around with them.
Perhaps you’ve seen the commercial where you can make the perfect family photo by trading a “better pose” for a bad one.
I was also introduced to Photosynth, which really intrigues me.
You take mega-pictures of a room, building, or whatever; from lot’s of angles, all sides, then upload them to Photosynth.
From the instructional video you are able to make a unique photo collage that can be viewed in a totally different way.
I’m interested in trying this.
So why am I telling you this?
Because something new has appeared on the horizon, it could give someone ammunition against the Bible being God’s word or the truth.
Solomon said, “That which has been is what will be, that which is done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun.” Eccl 1:9
However new “inventions” are invented all the time.
What Solomon discovered was there was no new sensation or thrill of life.
That I can relate to!
How many times have I found some new gadget only to replace the “new gadget” with a newer one a year or two later?
The only thing I have found that I have never been able to replace (nor would I want too) is Jesus.
Once I had my sin forgiven, I have sought no other newer source to remove them.
He was and is it!
