All Saints Day

Today is All Saints Day.
I believe that all of God’s people are saints though many don’t live up to the reputation of it.
In the Bible the word “saint” means sacred, pure, or morally blameless.
Paul often talked about the saints and to the Corinthians he wrote, “All the saints greet you.” 2 Cor 13:13
In the book of Romans he wrote, “I am going to Jerusalem to minister to the saints.” Rom 15:25
So who are the saints?
Again, Paul explained this when he wrote the Corinthians; To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints , with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours: 1 Cor 1:2
Sanctified in Jesus makes you a saint.
Calling on that precious Name makes you a saint.
So enjoy your saint-hood today!
I’m thinking of Ps 149:5 – Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds.
Yes! I think I’ll go back to bed and sing to God.
Then take a nap!
