Election Day

It’s Election Day! Yay! That means it’s almost over…for now! It will happen again!
It’s been a tough campaign, not for the campaigners but for those of us listening to the back and forth rhetoric on TV, radio, and even Facebook.
Will this election change things?
I’m not an electoral optimist!
I’m sure the return and rule of Jesus is the will of God but reading about His return to set up that rule is something else.
Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. Rev 19:11-16
There is no election!
A King or Lord isn’t elected; they are born to that position.
I’m glad there is no election for the final rule.
Can you imagine the mud-slinging from the opposition?

  1. Imagine? Ohhh, I don’t want to. ? As a child I’d watch war movies…I never imagined such horrors. As an adult, what I see (on my own) I never could have imagined. All I want in my little head is the ways of my Jesus. Sometimes that’s a struggle. Thank God He has told us what we are to think on! At times it takes so much engery to think on one of those that I forget what I was imaginning.
