Signs In The Heavens

Last night’s total lunar eclipse was a bust for me.
Though the eclipse took place, from a photographer’s point of view, it was not a great night for it.
Cloud cover was the problem with the view never clearing up beyond a quick glimpse.
According to a weather report I heard, only about 30% of the US had a favorable condition to see it.
Poor weather and viewing conditions did not stop the eclipse from happening.
Sleeping though it did not prevent it from happening!
A lunar or solar eclipse, a alignment of planets, or a comet are not only something to look up and watch but Jesus said such events will precede the end times; “There will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.” Luke 21:11
The next total lunar eclipse will be in June but not seen in the US.
In Dec of next year a total will be seen in the US.
Then there is not another one until the tetrad of 2014-2015.
A tetrad is 4 total lunar eclipses in a row.
The wonder of these 4 is they all take place on major Jewish holidays!
Two will take place on Passover and two on Tabernacle.
The last time a tetrad took place (1967-68), Israel recaptured Jerusalem.
The time before that (1949-50) was right after Israel became a nation in 1948.
You would have to look back to 1493-94 for the next tetrad. This one happened just after the Jews were exiled from Spain in 1492.
You may say I’m grasping at straws; trying to make a connection between a tetrad and something to do with Israel.
But remember this, the birth of Jesus was marked by a celestial event;; Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.” Matt 2:1-2
The death of Jesus was marked with a celestial event;; Now it was about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. Then the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two. And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit.'” Having said this, He breathed His last. Luke 23:44-46
Keep an eye on the sky; He is returning!
