The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified. John 12:23
I read that and I think about Jesus coming back!
That’s because so many of the old songs we sang in church talked about Him returning in clouds of glory or meeting Him in glory.
The truth is the most glorifying accomplishment of our Savior was His death.
With that He paid the price for all sin.
But death in and of itself isn’t all that glorifies the Lord, His resurrection and victory over death and hell seal the redemption He offers.
And if that wasn’t enough, He ascended to the very throne of God and makes intercession for us.
Jesus spoke a major truth when He said His hour to be glorified had come.
And He still isn’t through!
He is returning and we shall be glorified with Him.
I’m waiting for that hour!
