It’s the craziest thing I’ve ever seen.
A cross-eyed possum named Heidi has a Facebook page and she’s very popular.
Yesterday morning she had around 114,000 fans.
By the time I got home from work it was almost 140,000.
At 5am this morning it’s 147,560, that is up over 33,000 in 24 hours.
I think it’s all very funny.
And though I’m not a big fan of this kind of marsupial, Heidi is kinda cute with her little bulging, cross-eyed gaze.
Eyes are an important part of our senses.
Sight is stimulated by color and movement.
I can stare at a beautiful sunset and simply be amazed at the colors of orange and red as they fade upward into dark blue, purple and black.
The flowers of spring or the autumn leaves of fall can make me stop what I’m doing and just look!
Some people have incredible vision, while others wear some sort of corrective lenses and still so many see and yet are blind to God’s word.
David said, “Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths in your law.” Ps 119:18
Seeing and reading God’s word also gives me a thrill.
To see others praying in public or to witness someone getting healed is awesome to behold.
Every day I look for what God is doing; for what He is saying to me.
I pray that my eyes will be opened to God’s truth.
I pray that your eyes will be too!
It’s when I think I’m making head way I see I’m not so much farther down the line. With God we are in a constant state of growing, understanding. How awful it is that we have to go through the dark before we can see what is realy in front of us. It is a leason well learned though!

Today I am looking at the beauty of a snow covered landscape. Watching the snow fall. How peaceful. I am listening to hear that still small voice from the creator of this beautiful tranquil event.
