We’re having a problem with our washer so I stopped by the store where we bought it and talked to a saleslady.
She gave me a number to call and once I got home it began the long process of name, phone number, address; along with “can you hold a moment sir?”
I was hoping it was still under some kind of warranty but I couldn’t remember when we bought it and didn’t know where the receipt was.
Finally after getting the run around for 30 minutes, I just called them back and said, “I want it repaired!”
Once I did that I was sent to the repair center (via telephone) and the process began again.
They sent me to the warranty department and while I was on hold I started to look in the safe and the fireproof boxes.
I found the receipt and the 4-year extended warranty we had purchased.
Once they got back on the phone, they said they found the same thing in their records.
Why didn’t they do that in the first place?
I’m glad I kept my receipt in a safe place; all my other important papers are in there too.
There is only one important warranty I don’t keep in my safe. It wouldn’t do any good to do that.
That’s my salvation!
It is a written warranty in scripture like John 3:15, whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.
John 10:28, I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.
God’s warranty is much better than an appliance company. I won’t get the run around or put on hold countless times.
The Bible speaks of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began. Titus 1:2
The best part about salvation is it is free!
I didn’t have to buy it, extend it, and I won’t have to look for the papers later.
Jesus has taken care of all of that!
What beautiful truth, and simple! I need to be reminded now & again. Thank you brother Tim.
