What Would Jesus Say?

Are there any words that a Christian should not say?
I’m just curious because I hear those that call themselves Christian and yet their speech is not any different from those that aren’t Christian.
Is it ok for a Christian to say the A-word, B-word, F-word, S-word, M-word, or not?
I remember back in the 70’s George Carlin had some comedy routine about 7 words you can never say on radio or TV.
Recently I saw someone go on a Facebook tirade calling someone names! (the B-word)
Or things don’t go well so they use the F or S words!
Their info page indicates that they consider themselves Christian.
So as a Christian is there a forbidden territory of speech?
I have given this scripture before that seems to indicate this; Eph 4:29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
And there is also Col 4:6 – Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
But can we base our words on just those 2 scriptures.
It seems the Bible is more interested in the positive side of giving instruction on what should come out of our mouths, rather than what should not!
David said in Ps 35:28 And my tongue shall speak of Your righteousness and of Your praise all the day long.
And in Ps 119:46 I will speak of Your testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.
Ps 119:172 My tongue shall speak of Your word, for all Your commandments are righteousness.
Prov 8:6 Listen, for I will speak of excellent things, and from the opening of my lips will come right things;
Paul said, “I speak concerning Christ and the church.” Eph 5:32
And to Titus he said, “speak evil of no one” Titus 3:2. I think that would include not calling someone the B-word.
Before you speak corrupt words, ask yourself, “What would Jesus say?”
It’s guaranteed to change your life and bring you closer to Christ.
