What Did I Do Yesterday?

I like to write about things that happen around me; that affect me and, perchance, would affect you too.
So what happened to me yesterday?
Nothing! Not one thing!
I got up at 4:30 am.
I prayed and I praised.
I posted the Morning Thought and left for work.
I arrived at work and did show-prep.
I did a radio show!
I went to staff devotion.
I prayed for those on a prayer list.
I worked on some web things.
I worked on some computer things.
I went to lunch.
I came back from lunch.
I worked on some reports.
I restarted the DSL modem.
I worked on promotional material.
I went to Lowe’s.
I bought some lumber.
I went home.
I worked on the car port.
I bought a yellow page ad.
I took a shower.
I ate supper.
I sat at my computer.
I looked at Facebook.
And I pondered what I did all day.
At first glance it seems I didn’t do much.
It appears to me that I did what I do every day; same ol’ same ol’!
What I don’t see is how my actions may have influenced someone else.
That’s written somewhere between the lines.
It’s really not so bad to do the same thing every day, especially if you’re doing something positive; it’s another matter if you’re doing something destructive.
I think I do something positive every day, so that’s not a bad thing.
Jesus does the same thing every day.
It is said of Him Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Heb 13:8
It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Rom 8:34
So you and I need to keep doing what we are doing.
We provide for our family and give to others.
We do honorable work that makes some difference for someone.
Live so  that others read between the lines and see Jesus in what you’re doing!
