What are you thankful for?

Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! Ps 107:31
I’ve noticed that many on Facebook have been participating in 30 days of Thanks(giving), listing one thing they’re thankful for each day.
Though I’ve read many, I’ve not written any!
1-I’m thankful for my salvation.
2-I’m thankful for my wife, Linda, she is a great blessing to me.
3-I’m thankful for my children, Lindsey and Kimberly. I love them both very much.
4-I’m thankful for my son-in-law, Jeff. I think he’s the greatest.
5-I’m thankful for my grandchildren; Haylee, Braeden, and Barrett.
6-I’m thankful for my natural born family and my family of in-laws and some out-laws. lol
7-I’m thankful for pastoring CrossRoads Christian Center Church.
8-I’m thankful for my church family. They’re the best.
9-I’m thankful for my job at KSWP/KAVX Christian radio. I love being a DJ.
10-I’m thankful for my home in East Texas.
11-I’m thankful for my friends.
12-I’m thankful for my Facebook friends, which far outnumber those I actually see.
13-I’m thankful for living in America.
14-I’m thankful for working with other Christians.
15-I’m thankful for being able to play the guitar.
16-I’m thankful for being able to take pictures – I really love photography.
17-I’m thankful for being able to geocache with Linda. We love riding the roads.
18-I’m thankful for being called to preach.
19-I’m thankful for the gift of teaching.
20-I’m thankful for having a wife that pushes blessings and not curses.
21-I’m thankful for a tractor with a lift. That may sound silly to you but you won’t believe how many times I come in the house and tell Linda that I love my tractor.
22-I’m thankful for good health.
23-I’m thankful for being able to see well…with glasses.
24-I’m thankful for my aches and pains. The let me know that I’m still alive! Lol
25-I’m thankful for a computer to study the Bible on, blog, email, and play around on.
26-I’m thankful for being raised in church though I strayed away for a while.
27-I’m thankful for peace and quiet.
28-I’m thankful for sitting on the front porch and watching the birds flutter around or the moon rise over the pines.
29-I’m thankful for a wood heater and something to burn in it.
30-I’m thankful for you taking the time to read my blog today!

  1. #12 thankful for friends. We live in such a tite little world. We stray away from strangers, don’t get involved. We walk right past people that are so worth knowing. For instance, the person ringing the Salvation Army bell. Or the cashier. The Lord said a friend must show himself friendly. That means making an effort, and working at it. I am realy thankful our Lord has tought me this truth. And that His love is strong & unending. It flows through my husband, through my friends, I even conceder His love flowing through my pets.
