God said, “Let great lights appear in the sky to separate the day from the night. Let them mark off the seasons, days, and years.” Gen 1:14
Since the beginning, the heavenly bodies have been on a time schedule that has been set into motion by the Creator.
This motion of the sun, moon, and stars is a precise motion that has some predictability to it.
Sunday’s annular eclipse was no exception.
Though I was out of the zone of 100% eclipse, I was still able to watch it with my family on nearby Sam Rayburn reservoir.
The closest place to see the total annular would have been Lubbock, Texas – a 12-hour drive across the state from me.
There are many other eclipse’s to come, including the lunar tetrad in 2014-2015, mixed with a total solar eclipse in the midst. (See this related blog and this one too!)
A tetrad is four lunar eclipses in a row, and though it’s rare, it is not unusual or strange.
Jesus said, “There will be strange signs in the sun, moon, and stars.” Luke 21:25
I’ve often wondered about the word “strange”. It seems to indicate something unusual and not normal.
No matter what it really means, I am ready for His return.
Are you?
as Dave on the Auction show says,’Y U U U U P” I am ready.
