A Waste!

Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted. Ps 127:1
Yesterday I wrote about the old Aldridge Saw Mill.
Another place we visited was Caney Creek Park on Lake Sam Rayburn.
Many of the camping and boat ramp equipped parks on our nearby lake are closing more and more of the facilities, usually leaving just the boat ramp.
The camping loops are barred and not accessible any more.
The unusual thing I noticed at Caney Creek was a very nice building called a Nature Center.
It seemed to be in really great shape, except it’s closed and empty.
There is also a learning amphitheatre nearby with weeds that haven’t seen a lawn mower in a while.
I am not sure if the center or amphitheatre is used or not. If not, it seems like a great waste of money.
Since the U. S. Forest Service operates the area, I can only assume that it would be tax dollars.
To me, to have something and not use it is a waste.
The greatest waste to anyone is not using the gift that God has given.
Forgiveness of sin, salvation, eternal life, and the Holy Spirit are all gifts from God.
Accept Jesus as Savior and quite wasting time.
Tell someone else about Jesus and quite wasting time!

  1. I think there are scriptures that says when we know to do good & don’t we’ve sinned. And an other about when we have it in our hand to give & don’t we’ve sinned. That’s my translation. If we’re doing our God called part, at the lest, we are praying for government leaders. No one is to high & powerful, or to low & useless. Every person will stand before God to give an answer for their life. Perhaps the big question will be, did you love others as I commanded you?! Governmental fruit is wormy, self centered, & blind to others needs. Seens they have only lip service, thus we have lovely UNUSED parks & such, roads & bridges that lead no where. You know children don’t know how to handle money either.
