On Friday an appliance repairman came to our house to do warranty work on the front-load washer.
This is the 3rd time a repairman has had to work on it and it’s been a different one each time.
This guy was really nice and thorough.
He was the first guy to clean out a trap in the drain. There was quite a bit of change it there and by the discoloration it had been there a while.
He also took the time to re-level the machine, making a bit higher in the front so that the clothes and water would settle more in the back.
Linda used the machine and it seems to be running pretty good; only time will tell.
But if, over a period of time, we have no further problems, my question is why the other two repairmen didn’t do the same.
The first guy told me it was my floor (pier and beam) that was the cause.
The second guy did change out the shock/springs on the tub but did little else.
Why couldn’t the repair have been done correctly the first time.
I read a quote one time that said, “Man is born broken and God’s grace is the glue.”
The Bible says in Ps 147:3 – He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.
I know there are all kinds of “repairmen” in the world that want to repair you in a spiritual way.
Many of them may throw a quick bandage on you but there cure is not permanent.
Only Jesus can make that change to your life that will really cure, fix, repair, and heal you.
Thank You Father God for calling me to Your great salvation, and keeping me in place. Your gift of the Comforter is indeed needed every day. And He is without fail, on time with the power. Thank You for using each of us to strengthen each other with Your love & Your living Word. Father You are AWESOME !!!
