We purchased a front loading washer in October 2009. When we did we also purchased an extended 4-year warranty.
That pretty well guaranteed that we’d be covered if the washer had problems.
It did; starting almost the first day we used it. It would knock so loud that we wondered how it kept from knocking a hole in the side.
Repairman after repairman came and “repaired” it.
On the 5th report the repairman called and said he had never been paid for the last trip, which wasn’t my responsibility; I had a 4-year guarantee that it would be fixed.
Finally someone from the retailer’s main office called and said they would be sending us a store gift card for the price of the washer.
Once the card arrived, I picked up a new washer the next day.
It’s was a smart move to get an extended guarantee. If we had not, we would have been stuck with a banging washer.
I have another guarantee I would like to share with you, only this one didn’t cost me anything.
This guarantee is a lifetime guarantee. Or maybe I should say eternal lifetime guarantee.
Remember, he has identified you as his own, guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption. Eph 4:30
How can I be sure that I will receive this guarantee?
The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him. Eph 1:14
No matter how old I get or what may happen to me, I have no fear; I am under warranty!
