It is obvious that the United States of America has enemies; enemies that are bent on destroying us.
They live in nations around us; they live in the nation with us.
I find it ironic that, while living in the USA, they enjoy the freedoms afforded everyone. They enjoy the goods and services that we all enjoy.
While here they become educated taking advantage of our vast schools, colleges, and universities.
They can be gainfully employed, own or rent a home, eat out, watch a movie, and freely worship or not!
But America has changed over the past decades. We have increased the ability to maintain the previously mentioned lifestyle, we have failed to thank the One that has truly blessed America.
That is God!
We have failed in our Godly alliances.
We have failed in protecting Him before our citizens.
We have allowed the blasphemy of His name to go unopposed.
Just as ancient Israel turned their back on God and His judgment came upon them in the form of an enemy that destroyed them.
So the Lord brought the king of Babylon against them. The Babylonians killed Judah’s young men, even chasing after them into the Temple. They had no pity on the people, killing both young men and young women, the old and the infirm. God handed all of them over to Nebuchadnezzar. 2 Chron 36:17
What Israel did could have been prevented.
What is happening to the USA is preventable but it would take genuine repentance and a return to God.
Prov 16:7 – When people’s lives please the Lord, even their enemies are at peace with them.
