Anxiously Walking By Faith

I have to tell this story.
Last weekend I took pictures for this very lovely, Godly couple, Roman and Yoe.
She has been a missionary in Mexico, along with her parents and sister, her entire life.
Roman and Yoe are about to get married and will begin their own ministry.

While doing the photo shoot, they shared with me a small 5th wheel travel trailer they looked at for a place to stay when in the states.
It’s a very clean, nice travel trailer and a great price.
God laid it upon my heart to try and raise the $3000 for them.

I got a list of their supporting churches and got out of my comfort zone – I had to ask others for money.
On Monday I needed $3000. As of this morning only $1000 is needed.
The entire family is getting ready to make the trip back into Mexico early next week. I was really praying and hoping to have this task completed.

I’ll admit, I can get a little anxious about things and I know you know what the Bible says about being anxious for nothing.
I just need to step back and let God move on some hearts. The seeds have been planted, someone will water, and God will give the increase.

For my own comfort I found this verse in the Psalms – search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Ps 139:23
God knows my anxious thoughts already. He has already seen the completion of this – a place where I must walk by faith and not by sight! 2 Cor. 5:7

I would only ask you to pray! I don’t want to be guilty of anxiously walking by faith. Sounds like an oxymoron to me!
