The final temptation does not start with “if you are the Son of God.” Perhaps that is well established now and Satan has realized that it is futile to keep pursuing that.
Jesus has not given in to the satanic scheme of doubt but has His heart and mind set on serving God.
Next the devil took him to the peak of a very high mountain and showed him the kingdoms of the world and all their glory. “I will give it all to you,” he said, “if you will kneel down and worship me.” Matt 4:8-9
Really? Satan can offer Jesus the kingdoms of the world?
The word of God says this about the subject – Jesus said, “…when Satan, the ruler of this world, will be cast out.”John 12:31
Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. 2 Cor 4:4
…you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience Eph 2:2
Yes, it appears that Satan has a majority of shares in the world and has controlling interest. He offers the Savior the easy route. This route is broad and wide and only has one destination – destruction. (Matt 7:13)
Jesus did not argue the point of ownership.
In fact, not arguing with Satan is the point. Not allowing him to influence how you think and respond is the point.
The truth of God’s word is the point.
Nothing good can come from arguing with Satan. You will never reach your full potential in Christ by talking with Satan!
You have the authority in Christ to tell Satan to back off!
“Get out of here, Satan,” Jesus told him. “For the Scriptures say, ‘You must worship the LORD your God and serve only him.'” Matt 4:10
Jesus shows how to live to your fullest potential – spiritually, physically, and mentally.
Know the scriptures.
Keep your heart and mind on Abba Father.
Do not allow pride to enter your heart.
Do not argue with the enemy but take authority over Satan and rebuke him in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Make no mistake; Satan is not going to give up. He is going to tempt every weak point you have. He is going to search your heart, mind, and soul until he finds something that you cannot resist.
He is relentless.
So is the power of Christ! It is relentless for YOU – to equip you to overcome Satan.
For all the above mentioned, keep me in prayer. please
