All paths lead to God?
I hear that quite a lot these days, even from some that claim to preach the Gospel of Christ.
Jesus laid claim that He was the way – the only way to the Father and that no one would make it to the Father except through Him. (John 14:6)

You shall not go after other gods, the gods of the peoples who are all around you. Deut 6:14

The acceptance of many ways to God is an insult to God. He chooses the way to Himself – not us!
And He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world Eph 1:4

All paths lead to God is no more true than saying all answers on a history test lead to an A+. Only the right answers will gain you a perfect score.

Tolerance for other religions seems to be the culprit behind this new doctrine of all paths lead to God. But I cannot tolerate a lie that will lead someone to eternal damnation.

Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. Matt 7:13-14

If all paths led to God then the doorway and path would be wide and there would be no road to destruction.
While an “all paths” doctrine would seem to make sense and be all inclusive for everyone – it is a man-made doctrine.

There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death. Prov 14:12
