The scripture is true. Throughout my life I have seen and heard many things that became the top news but slowly faded away.
What seemed important last year – forgotten this year.
God’s word is eternal and eternity is forever.
For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. James 4:14
I had a great-grandfather that lived to be 97. Another that lived to 95. The problems and struggles each of them faced faded away through time and inventions. They, too, passed from this life.
But God’s word lived and survived before either was born and continues today, even decades after both have passed.
Do not fret over temporary things. Stand strong on God’s word.
