Keep praying, pushing, and looking!

Blessed is every one who fears the Lord, who walks in His ways. Ps 128:1

Sometimes you don’t feel blessed.
Instead, you feel weary, tired, and worn down. You feel unfairly treated or left out and neglected.
You do your best to walk in His ways and it seems you take one step forward to slide back two.
It is so easy to wallow in pity. It is so easy to quit!
It’s not like your persecuted by anyone although all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. 2 Tim 3:12-13
Be careful not to self-persecute yourself!
The moment you take your eyes and mind off Christ and place it on the world around you, you are asking for trouble. Conflict begins.
You tempt yourself when you allow your own desires to take hold of you. (c.f. James 1:14)
This world is not your home. Jesus said His kingdom was not of this world. (John 18:36)
John also offered this encouragement: Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world — the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life — is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. 1 John 2:15-17
Keep praying!
Keep pushing forward!
Keep looking to Jesus!
