Yesterdays Morning Thought was about the courage to stand in the face of temptation.
I was texting with some of the youth from church the other day about getting more involved in the service, mission, and work of the church.
Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross daily, and follow me. If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it.
I’ve never been much on journaling. To me it’s like keeping a diary and that was always a girly thing to do, at least when I was young.

I watched my first ever (and probably last) episode of Walking Dead. The premise of the program is a virus has infected mankind. People get a burning hot fever and die only to come back as a zombie. The infection can be spread by being bitten by one of the zombies. The program centers on the survivors more than the infected.
